Our Management Committee
In 1949 local farming land owners came together and donated a parcel of land to the community to be held in Trust for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Highwood in Chelmsford Essex.
The Trust is a registered charity no. 301343 and the Highwood Village Hall Committee manage the Trust.
The Highwood Village Hall Committee are publicly elected at the AGM to manage the Trust. All members are volunteers and retire annually at the AGM where new representatives of the Parish have the opportunity to put themselves forward and join the Highwood Village Hall Committee.
The Highwood Village Hall Committee consists of no more than 15 members and the quorum shall never be less than a third of the committee members.
